Security Center Protect yourself from fraud

Fraud Prevention

Learn how to recognize common fraud tactics, verify unusual requests and respond quickly when something does not look right.

Security guidance

Fraud often relies on urgency, impersonation and pressure. A strong defense combines careful verification, secure account habits and prompt reporting of suspicious activity.

01

Common warning signs

Be cautious when someone pressures you to act immediately, move money to “protect” it, disclose a password or verification code, install remote-access software, or keep a transaction secret.

02

Verify before you act

Use a trusted phone number or website you already know rather than contact details supplied in an unexpected message. Never rely solely on caller ID, email display names or links in unsolicited messages.

03

Protect payment instructions

Treat changes to wire, transfer or beneficiary instructions as high risk. Confirm changes independently using a known contact channel before sending funds.

04

If you suspect fraud

Stop communicating with the suspicious party, preserve messages and transaction details, secure your credentials, and contact Lion Gate Investments through an official channel as soon as possible.
